Cozy Sunday Afternoon Walk

Pullover by comma // Jeans by Topshop // Sneakers by Adidas
Jacket by Liu Jo // Bag by Liu Jo // Watch by Skagen

I was in Munich two weeks ago, and I really wanted to show you these few shots that we've took. On Sunday, we decided to do a little afternoon walk (really cliché, I know), and so we went to the "Olympiapark" which I do really like. And as we walked by the street to get there, we passed this beautiful building with the high columns that reminded me of the ancient Rom. So I really wanted to take a few pictures of it, and show you what I wore that day.

As I've already said, I dressed for a casual afternoon walk, so my outfit wasn't that special on that day either. I wore a beige pullover by comma, that I really love because it's so cozy and warm. I paired it with my favorite Topshop Mom Jeans, my fluffy jacket by Liu Jo, and my Adidas Stan Smith sneakers that I wear practically every day. To top the whole look off, I took my Liu Jo purse with me, aswell as a watch by Skagen. And that's about it! Very easy-going, isn't it?

Review // Dior Star

As I had no time at all for shopping during my trip to Munich and London, I thought that I'd reward myself in the Duty Free section of London City Airport for not giving in to Boots, &otherstories, Urban Outfitters, and DM.

I found myself directly in the foundation department of Dior (perhaps because my skin is really bad for the moment). I got the 'STAR, Fluid foundation' in the shade 030, and I thought that it would be time for my first ever product-review (yeay!), so here we go.

♡ ♡ ♡

Obviously, a Dior foundation isn't the cheapest thing in the world, but with a price point of 30,99£, I really can't say anything.

I'm totally in love with the glass bottle that says 'DIORSKIN' on it, as it really look very expensive and is made up beautifully. Also, I love that it got a pump dispenser.

With a colour range of 14 colours, I guess that there should be a matching one for almost everybody.

♡ ♡ ♡ ♡

When you first apply it, it has a really little coverage and is very lightweight, but I love the fact that you can build it up soooo easily.

♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡

I honestly don't even feel like I've got something on.

I don't think that the foundation is perfect, but it's not that far away from it. I really think that it would fit many different skin types, as it doesn't get greasy over the day (not even after my dance classes) nor does it dry out. So if you don't mind the higher price point, I would totally recommend it to you!

The In-The-Moment-Clique

They wear Gucci, Prada and Chanel. They drink Dom Pérignon and Belvedere. They walk on the streets as if the world was theirs. They are the so-named 'high society'.

As I have already mentionned in my previous Post, I celebrated my 20th birthday in Munich last Saturday, in a club that was known to be like a second home for celebrities visiting the city that is dealt as the richest and most beautiful city in whole Germany. Nowadays, the club is host of a bar, a restaurant and a dance floor for everybody who wishes to have a great night on the steps of the ancient celebrities.

I'm surely no celebrity and I also don't know any, except for one kindergarden buddy of mine (if I even can call her like this), who works in the fashion industry and knows quite some people around the place as a consequence. I spent my time with her and her friends in this club, and it made me think quite a little.

I saw them. Them who everybody would love to change places with. Them who 'normal' people consider to be an ideal that one should strive for.
But, no. I don't think that anyone should. Most of those people are nice, yes. But they live a life that I wouldn't want for me personally.

They live in a world of illusions, nothing more.
A world where not only the nails and lashes of the people are fake, but their smiles and personalities, too. A world where the image you project of yourself on the outter world is more important that the real you. A world where you don't really matter as an individual.
What actually matters though are your new shoes, your new purse and your 'new nose' ; the people you know, the people who know you, and the people you sit with ; the gossip you share ; and the smile you put on for the duration of a 'soirée'.

I don't say that the way they live is better or worse than mine or yours, or that I or somebody else am / is a better person because they have another lifestyle. I simply am recapitulating what I've seen.

For me personally, I don't think that I would want to live this way. I don't want to have to doubt about my 'friends' and to present myself as an object that is accessible for everybody.

I don't want to be part of (what I would call) the 'In The Moment Clique'. A group of people that live in the moment, don't think about what will be in 5 minutes, half an hour, or a day, but who do what they want and somehow come through life with it. Or at least until now...
