One of my smaller goals for 2018 is to get more into all things beauty, so I thought why not start with something that I actually seem to have understood, at least a little: hair care.

Okay, I think this is the moment I should probably admit that I'm probably the laziest person when it comes to hair. Sorry, but who has the time (and patience) to blow-dry and style your hair for a good hour every day? I don't. That's why I try to use the smallest amount of hair products - partly because I'm really lazy, as already mentioned ; partly because I heard that it harms your hair to use an abundant amount of products, which then again I use as an excuse to justify my laziness (you see how everything comes perfectly together? I know right.)

I've used most of these products for at least a couple of months now and am pretty sure I've found gems that I'll continue using for a long time to come. So hopefully, this will give you some inspiration on how you can spice up your hair routine as well!

Aussie - Miracle Moist Shampoo
First things first: shampoo. I was never a firm believer of the extraordinary capabilities of shampoos up until I tried out Aussie's shampoos, and I've never looked back. Not only does my hair feel fresher for longer, but it also looks shinier and healthier which, come on, is everything we could possibly wish for, isn't it? The Miracle Shine Shampoo is only one of many that I've tried so far, and am really obsessed with.

Batiste - Divine Dark Dry Shampoo
And on the days you don't have time to wash your hair (which, as a student, happens way too often), a good dry shampoo is your best friend. I have always a large spray bottle of this at home, you know, just to make sure I don't run out too fast.

L'OREAL - Pro Keratin Refill Mask
This little gem is my first aid product when I want my hair to be soaked in moisture, have an incredible shine and feel like satin. With a price point of around £20, it's not the cheapest hair mask there is, but it's totally worth it if you ask me. I use it once every week or every other week and will definitely repurchase it as soon as it's empty, which hopefully won't happen too soon because  £20 do really hurt the wallet anyway (especially after the holiday season).

Supernatural Ecoly Formulas - Slippery Elm Polishing Gloss (I can't find a shop link online for this one, so just ask your local hairdresser for it)
I usually take the smallest amount of this product, rub it between my hand palms and then go through my hair, especially the ends, to add some shine and defrizz them. Again, it's not the cheapest product (I think I paid around 30€), but I've had this product for about 2 years now and it still is full. So if you can get your hands on it, don't hesitate! You won't regret buying it.

What are your holy grail products?

  1. Your hair always looks fantastic, I think I'm going to try some of this products
