I've been nominated by the lovely beauty and lifestyle blogger Meg Louise for the Mystery Blogger Award some time ago. At this point, I would like to thank you, Meg, for the nomination - I really appreciate it. Before this nomination, I've never heard about this award, so I found it very interesting to read a bit more about it. Basically, the award was created by Okoto Enigma as a way to discover new bloggers and to give them some more exposure this way. Without rambling on further, let's start off with the rules!
  • Put the award logo/image on your blog
  • List the rules.
  • Thank whoever nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
  • Mention the creator of the award and provide a link as well
  • Tell your readers 3 things about yourself
  • You have to nominate 10 – 20 people
  • Notify your nominees by commenting on their blog
  • Ask your nominees any 5 questions of your choice; with one weird or funny question (specify)
  • Share a link to your best post(s)

  • I've wanted to become a Fashion Journalist and move to London since I was 10 years old.
  • I've been born in Odessa, Ukraine, but moved to Luxembourg with my mum when I was only 5. Even though I was very young, I still consider myself to have some Ukrainian traits and am very lucky that I've basically grown up having the best of both cultures.
  •  I speak 6 languages: Luxembourgish, French, German, Russian, English and Spanish.

If you could time travel to any era in history, when would it be and why?
I would probably travel to the 18th century. I recently had to choose an era in history and do a photo shoot based on that decade for uni, so I chose the 18th century and did a Marie Antoinette-inspired shoot. I've always been quite intrigued by that century, especially the second half of the 18th century because I feel like there was so much happening around that time: the French Revolution, the industrial revolution, ...
What is the most frustrating thing about blogging to you, and how do you overcome it?
I feel like one of the things I struggle with the most is to be constant and stick to posting on certain days, no matter what happens outside of blogging. I've made a promise to myself to be regular in my posting this year and to my own surprise, I managed to do it up until now. This month has been one of the best of my life, but also crazy busy. It was so hard to find time between starting an internship and keeping up with uni deadlines to make time to shoot and create content for this blog. I try to make time every week to write and shoot, but sometimes it's really hard and almost impossible to keep up with it.

If your life was set inside a movie or TV show, which movie/show would it be?
Uhh good one. That's tough to decide though. I started rewatching Reign again so that would be a really good one. Or maybe 90210 - being a rich kid in Beverly Hills sounds so tempting.

Would you rather have leaves for arms or a flower for a face? (If you know me you’ll know this is my FAVOURITE would you rather question of all time hahaha!)
A flower for a face - I'd be pretty no matter what and could still function as a human being, how amazing is that?

And finally….what is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
"Nobody will ever just hand something to you, so if you really want it, you'll need to work your ass off to get it." My mum kept on saying this to me while I was growing up which is probably one of the main reasons I ended up being so ambitious.

  • If you had to live in one city/place and weren't able to travel to any other place for the rest of your life, where would you want to be?
  • What do you consider to be your spirit animal and why?
  • If you could give your 5-year-old self an advice, what would it be?
  • Do you have a role model? If you do, what inspires you most about them?
  • Would you rather live on an island without WIFI but have a Spotify and Netflix subscription instead or have WIFI but not be able to watch movies/series or listen to music ever again?

According to my statistics, my best post is an interview that I did with my former dance teacher and the choreographer of Papa Roach's None Of The Above music video which you can watch here. Personally, my favourite two posts were How To Be A Mum, which I dedicated to my role model and the most important person in my life, my mum (as the title already suggests), and You >, which was a little train of thought about something that is really important to me: self-love and self-realisation.

Thanks again, Meg, for nominating me! And sorry that it took me so long to do it. I hope that all my nominees accept their award and I can't wait to read your posts!

  1. This was so fun to read! I too would travel to the 18th century around the time of Marie Antoinette. If you know me, than you would know I have a bit of an obsession with her and that era along with Louis XIV! I love how you put the photos in black and white. Created a lovely ambiance :) Have a nice Sunday dear!

    1. Thank you, I'm glad that you enjoyed the post! x
